Re: Site and BB Update

Does anyone know if our site administrator,Chris, has given up the site? A few of us have had no luck lately communicating with him, and mostly we’re just hoping he’s ok. Chris took it upon himself to do this thankless job which I know is deeply appreciated by all. Of course, the best case scenario ...

Re: Just bought a Frances 26'

Hi Pedro, What a beautiful ship you have. Congratulations for having exquisite taste in boats! Also to the new owner of Jill....I have really enjoyed the great YouTube’s from her previous owner ( assume it’s the same “Jill!”) I’ve owned Wildwood since 2013 and have enjoyed every millisecond of it. A...

New hatch for Wildwood

Wanted to share some pictures of my new mahogany fwd hatch. The old plexiglass was tired (but still functionally perfect after 40 years) and it was time for a change...which definitely will require a sunbrella cover ( now being made) . My woodworker buddy in VT did a beautiful job and my sincere tha...

Re: Wildwood's lucky new caretaker.. New Dodger!

Wildwood's doghouse dodger was great, but this really makes things much more comfortable..and the SS handholds are just great. The thing is essentially as solid as a hard dodger

Re: Frances 26 Wanted

I am considering selling my 1980 Frances..." Wildwood" ( once Tom Morris' personal boat) She is pristine with new awlgrip ( hull and spars) and many thousands spent improving an already beautiful boat. Her Nanni diesel looks and runs like it just came out of the crate. She will also have a...

Re: Wildwood's lucky new caretaker

Thanks Mark, My Voyager originally had the traveler mounted on the bridge deck too. The first thing I did was move it aft. As I understand it, Wildwood's unique traveler (Harken) arrangement was added by Tom Morris when he totally refit the boat in 2001. The only modifications I had made (while she ...

Wildwood's lucky new caretaker

image.jpeg I've enjoyed this website so much! Last winter I bought Wildwood, a 1980 Morris built Frances. (She appears in the website's index of boats...although looks a bit different now.) Wildwood, at 34, looks practically new. She has been well cared for over the years, and obviously has some un...
