Joao,
I think if you contact this address
mark@markfitzmarine.com
he will be able to sell you plans. Or you could contact Chuck Paine.

Has anyone thought to contact Morris to get the list of all 42 Francis made? I owned a Camper & Nicholson 35 and we were able to track down and keep track of the 228 made. With that list in hand, a true owners association could be established. BTW, I stumbled upon a derelict Francis near me. I w...

Where did you get the idea that La Luz was for sail? Last we heard, she was through the canal and into the Pacific

I think that makes sense. If you are going to mount a windvane, you are basically building a boomkin so you may as well mount the backstay there. You may want to check with Chuck Payne. I hear he is very helpful although semi retired. Check with Peter as the Francis is at the outer edge of displacem...

Steve, I corresponded a lot with the owner of Windpilot (Peter Förthmann) when I was considering a van for my Nic. I liked him and the design. I would contact him. I am pretty sure that La Luz is using the Pacific Lite rather than the heavier version, but I would confirm that with Peter. I agree tha...

Congratulations. Be sure and provide pictures and description for this site. Is yours Morris built or Victoria built? I assume you are not here in the US

Your picture of La Luz shows her with the Windpilot Pacific Lite. A better match for the boat I think

Steve,
Your post is truncated. When did you get your Francis and what is her name? I just sold my Nic 35 and will begin trolling for a Francis shortly.

Chris, I suggest the forums be listed on the home page to make them more visible. Suggest an "owners" page where owners can register their Francis' and upload any information they care to. If you can get even one or two owners to sign in, it could lead to connections to all the others. Den...
