HIN on a 1982 Victoria Frances 26

I have owned my Victoria Frances for 34 of her 38 years and have never found a hull identification # on her. Thru the years I have searched all over the stern and nothing. I was even at the Morris yard in Maine, saw another Victoria and could not find a HIN number on her either. I have also stopped at the old Morris Yachts in Trenton Maine and no luck from any of their info. Chuck Paine, himself, was also amazed. If anyone can help me out, please do. The state of Massachusetts provided me one when I registered her in 1986. Thanks

On the Victoria built boats it is to be found on the port side aft quarter. However it is very small and moulded into the gel coat, so very difficult to find and read. On the V800 boats there is a second, “hidden” HIN somewhere on the inside. I am trying to find out if the Frances 26 also has this hidden HIN, and where to look for it. I found my external HIN, but unfortunately it is not legible.
