The original owner purchased the hull, deck, mast and boom from Morris in the late 80's. They gave him a 1984 hull number as, I am assuming, that is when she was molded. She was originally launched in 1990. Well known for their sturdiness and capable "cruise-ability", the Morris Frances can take you many places for a mere 26'. Combined with the fact that she is completely trailer-able, the convenience of launching or storing her anywhere is a real plus. Satyam has been "in the water" for actually only three years of her existence and was trailered to FL and CA to be cruised.

Satyam has been a great cruising boat for her current owner and he is now ready to hand off the baton. He has prepared her well for her next owners, having had the hull and decks freshly painted and her exterior woodwork refinished.. The mast and boom have also been refinished. She has a good amount of equipment and some minor "finishing" is required. The original owner, a metal fabricator, built her with internal ballast and custom made most of the hardware including chainplates and he added a split backstay Therudder was fabricated of stainless steel. This Morris was overbuilt and is still standing strong. The second ( and current) owner purchased her in 1993 and installed a new Yanmar, complete running gear and fuel system with tank as she was previously powered with an outboard.
